Download an IPEDS Access Database: The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), established as the core postsecondary education data collection program for NCES, is a system of surveys designed to collect data from all primary providers of postsecondary education.
Download IPEDS data files for more than 7,000 institutions and up to 250 variables. Data files are provided in comma separated value (*.csv) format.
• Search and download NCES customized charts and tables; and • Use advanced data tools to create summary tables, statistical tables, and comparison reports. IPEDS is administered by NCES and is an annual institution-level data collection system.

The Data Center is a one‐stop shop for retrieving IPEDS data. On the IPEDS website, click on Use the Data to go to the Data Center and begin defining your analysis. Once on the Use the Data page, you will see NCES has developed several useful resources for analyzing and viewing IPEDS data.
