If you like waiting 45 minutes to pickup paid glasses or contacts Costco Optical Mission Valley is a good choice. Enjoy the ambiance sounds and smells of the coffee grinder while you wait for one of two "customer service "technicians " assist you with a 30 second exchange.
Both my husband and I used the Costco optometrists in our area for years! Do some research on Yelp - they had some of the best reviews compared to other local optometrists which is why we picked them. Always made an appointment first as they don’t take walk ins.
If you wear glasses the optical department is one of the best reasons to have a Costco membership. Quality is on par or better with any of the mall vision stores and the price can't be beat. The last two pairs I got using mediocre insurance from work.
