Uranium: Fakemon, new megas, Nuclear Type(Similar to Shadow), new region/story, and an excellent pokemon game. Infinite Fusion : Kanto with plenty of new stuff, and thousands of fusions between different pokemon.
I'd definitely recommend some non-Fakemon hacks though, like Light Platinum. I'd also recommend Pokémon fangames (actual separate games not based on a ROM) like Pokémon Insurgence (once of the best, if not the best, non-official Pokémon game), or if you really want those fakemon then Pokémon Uranium is great.

"Fakemon" simply refers to Pokémon created by fans, and they can come from many different sources: ROM hacks, fan games, art galleries, and more. Each fan project that contains Fakemon or new Pokémon forms has its own Pokédex in the library.
23 Οκτ 2017 · I just uploaded some Pokemon DS rom hacking tutorial vids and wanted to post them here in case they help anyone out. They are definitely not high level stuff, mostly a showcase of how to use tools like Tinke, Kiwi, PokeDS/Pis, DS Text Editor, and PPRE for trainer editing.
There are several games that have... fakemon that aren't exactly pokemon. League of Legends, DBZ, Touhoumon, Moemon, Digimon. There are quite a few RPGmaker games (not romhacks/emulation but standalone games built in rpgmaker) with lots of fakemon that I think deserve a mention.
