Depends how you do slayer. I personally am level 98 at the moment and want fast xp tasks at the moment, but would gladly store a hellhounds task to do Cerb after getting 99. Or storing a very AFK task like Kraken for later if you're expecting to watch something later/the next day
The point of unlocking task storage is to store a singular task. This can be good for doing back to back tasks of the same creature or putting off a boss for a more afk creature - and vice versa - so you can do what you want when you want.
Task weighing is the system that Slayer masters use to assign Slayer assignments. Each possible assignment has a weight value — the higher this value, the more likely that task will be assigned. You can get the same task that you currently have saved as your next task. It's explicitly not a block. The main reason you should use saves is... if you want to save a task for later. Boss tasks can be incredibly long and break your rhythm.
