Beaches in Negril are very comparable and wouldn't let the " wind " deter you from going. From my experience, thought Aruba had more people on the beaches ( volume ) and looked and seems more crowded than in Jamaica. A few differences are Aruba is more desert like whereas Jamaica is more lush.
