Nemours Children's pediatric researchers receive major external grant awards from a wide range of foundations, partnerships, corporations and government agencies.
Failure to make scheduled payments may result in disqualification from NFAP. Families must recertify their participation in NFAP annually. Nemours offers several financial assistance programs — some apply to specific medical conditions, others discount or lower the cost of Nemours medical services.

Those decisions will be different depending on the county you’re in, and could have monumental impacts on people’s lives.
Nemours will continue to offer the same two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) options (the Red and White plans, with in- and out-of-network benefits), an Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) option (the Blue plan, with in-network benefits only) and a high-deductible health plan (Green plan).
Unlike the other Nemours medical plans, you pay 100% of non-preventive medical services until you meet the plan’s annual deductible. The Nemours prescription drug benefits are administered by Express Scripts.
Since opening our doors, Nemours Children’s Health has invested more than $3.4 billion in delivering a higher standard of care. Uncompensated medical care includes health care services without a direct source of payment. In 2021, total uncompensated medical care provided by Nemours Children’s included:
