25 Μαΐ 2016 · I think all you need to do is slide down the chrome sleeve below the knob. Then there is a small horseshoe shaped metal clip right below the knob that can be removed using needle nose pliers. Pull off that clip and the knob should come come right up.
12 Απρ 2008 · First, put the parking brake on and put the gearshift in Neutral to make it easier to work on. Then, with a pair of pliers padded with cloth or whatever you think works best, twist the plastic collar under the knob counter clockwise. It seems to require only a small turn, perhaps 1/8th or so.
30 Αυγ 2021 · To take apart the shift knob from the collar, there are 2 clips on either side of the shaft. Get a narrow flat head screw driver in there and depress it as you slowly pull the handle from the boot. Once you get one side unclipped, you do the same to the other side until you see it come apart.
