   The hotel is positioned at the top of the shopping district on Spring Street and we found the street noise well muffled by the heater/air conditioner unit in our room window. Perhaps the most famous aspect of the hotel is its intentionally phallic and authentically old neon sign. Internet pictures of it do not do it justice.
