I wanted to play Minecraft 1.0, but when I opened up my world, some weird visual glitches appeared. I said: "Okay, so I'll try 1.1...". And the same thing happened. I kept testing on newer versions and the same glitches were appearing, only worsening time by time.

Only access it using a safe machine, like a virtual machine. It is almost certainly a phishing scam. Do not be gullible. Why would this ever work? In theory, it would be one of several things: A key generator, which is impossible given that the redeem codes have to be approved from the website to actually be worth anything.
