26 Ιουλ 2024 · A new Texas law that took effect on Friday is changing jury duty pay and age limits. Pay for the first day of jury service has now been increased from $6 per day to up to $20 a day.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR JURY SERVICE. You must have the following qualifications: • Be at least 18 years of age. • Be a citizen of the United States. • Reside in the county of jury service. • Be qualified to vote in the county of jury service, even if you are not registered to vote. • Be able to read and write.
