I just built a computer with a brand new installation of Windows 10 Home 64bit. Had to give it my Microsoft account credentials. Turned off all of the password requirements.
23 Αυγ 2023 · To remove a Windows 10 user account password, go to the Sign-in options page in Settings, select "Change" under Password, and enter a blank password. Only local accounts can have their passwords removed, not Microsoft accounts.
To disable automatic login and enable password protection for your user account, open “netplwiz,” select the user account and check the “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer” option. Click the “Apply” button to save changes and restart the computer.
