Some payers confirm selecting Fortnite Core and Battle Royale and Save the World installation checkboxes has resolved this issue for them.

  2. Checking both Battle Royale and Save the World boxes for your installation options may resolve your issue. Open the Epic Games Launcher. Click on the three dots next to Fortnite. Click on Options. Make sure both checkboxes for Battle Royale and Save the World are checked. Click on Apply.

  6. I found a fix! Typically it's a server issue, so I found my fix involved changing my matchmaking region. Mine was set to Auto, so I changed it by going to Settings > Game > Language and Region and then I changed my Matchmaking Region from Auto to a different server.
