5 Μαρ 2014 · To be eligible for the ACES Open Choice program, students must be residents of New Haven to apply to schools in the suburbs or residents of suburban districts to apply for a New Haven school. Students enrolled in private or other non-public schools are eligible for this program.
New Haven Open Choice schools offer free admission, free transportation to over 30 towns and free full-day preschool for three and four year olds and full day kindergarten to students from all around the state of Connecticut.
Open Choice is a program in which Connecticut students can attend schools in local public school districts outside the community in which they reside . Connecticut’s statutes currently allow for districts in the Hartford, Bridgeport, New Haven, and New London areas
