9 Αυγ 2024 · Plan your trip with your dog around the MTA’s official peak hours. On weekdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, dogs are not allowed on the subway unless they are service animals or working dogs.
NYC Subway Pet Policy: Small domestic pets are permitted on the subway and on buses of New York City Transit and MTA Bus only when they are carried in kennels or similar containers that can be accommodated by you on your lap without annoyance to other passengers.

Dogs ride for free and can also join their owners on NYC buses. Fido’s favorite NYC attraction, Central Park, is easily accessible from A,B,C,D, N, R, Q, and W trains.
