5 Ιουλ 2012 · It's a King 600-SP, s/n 847996. I purchased it on Ebay, said to be like new/never sold or played and it did come in packaging like a new trumpet would. I checked the Conn-Selmer website and found that serial number was made 1975-1980.
5 Ιαν 2005 · The numbers 406,501 - 457,600 should appear in the 1965 - 1970 interval, and so on. It will be correct if you start in 1960, place the omitted numbers 370,001 - 406,500 in the 1960 - 1965 time interval, and then move the number ranges ahead five years each from that point...

This 600 is an extremely rare and high quality trumpet, handmade made in the USA. Serial number is in pics (37 210609) and corresponds to the years 1960 - 1965 for manufacturing period. This is considered by many to be one of Kings best trumpet manufacturing periods. King began crafting instruments in 1893.
