Our staff assists students with registration, academic regulations, exams, grading, enrollment verification, bar certification, academic records, graduation requirements, and bar certifications.

  2. Applications to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law JD, JD/MBA, JD/MPA, and JD/MURP programs must be submitted through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The College of Law will accept applications for the Fall 2025 class from October 15, 2024 through July 1, 2025 .

  3. All applicants must register with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) and the Credential Assembly Service (CAS). Information about both are available online at www.lsac.org. All candidates are required to take the LSAT or GRE. If possible, applicants should arrange to take an admission test by the December prior to the planned enrollment date.

  4. For more than 100 years, Loyola University New Orleans College of Law has been the only law school in New Orleans to offer working professionals and non-traditional students the opportunity to earn a law degree in the evening.

  5. Day students may register for day classes and evening classes, though spots are held for evening students in evening classes. Evening students wishing to enroll in day classes must seek permission from the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.

  6. The College of Law offers both Common Law and Civil Law J.D. curriculums, preparing students to practice law in Louisiana or anywhere in the world. Both tracks require 90 credit hours and meet the educational qualification to take the bar exam in all 50 states.

  7. LL.M. Program. We take your education personally. Loyola offers tailored LL.M degree programs for both international students and U.S. law school graduates seeking to further their education.
