Wood Mountain Cabins and Campground. 231 Wood Mountain Road, Glen Jean, WV, 25846. 740-250-4471. Website. From primitive sites for bare-bones campers to full RV hookups with all the bells and whistles, discover your perfect camping getaway in the Gorge.
The only spot for New River Gorge camping with full hookups is Rifrafters Campground. There are full hookup sites, partial hookup sites, tent sites, cabins, laundry, restrooms, a dump station, and a playground onsite. This campground is also the only option for big rigs near the national park.
With a variety of camping options available, including 10 wooded drive-in sites suitable for RVs, campers, car camping, and tents, along with 6 walk-in tent sites and 2 accessible sites by the river, visitors are spoiled for choice when it comes to selecting their ideal camping spot.
