24 Ιουν 2024 · To mark the significant milestone, the Capitals have revealed the club’s 50th-anniversary logo and related brand creative for the 2024-25 campaign, commemorating 50 years since the team’s 1974-75 debut in the National Hockey League.
If the logos at the bottom mean anything, maybe they will unveil a new third with the Weagle as the front crest? I know they retired the blue ones with the "W" last year. Black jersey with gold and blue Weagle would be sick... Reverse Retro style.
I'd love to see them lean into the weagle and screaming eagle logos. For the home and away jerseys, I wanted to design something new and fresh, yet familiar. The jerseys feature big, bold blocks of color. The weagle logo takes center stage, with the 3 stars of the DC flag.

Starting with their preseason road game against the Boston Bruins on September 24, 2024, and running through to the conclusion of the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Capitals.
