23 Νοε 2021 · City of New York Press Cards. MOME’s Press Credentials Office issues City of New York Press Cards to journalists and media outlets so they can pass NYPD/city official lines and attend official City-government sponsored events open to the press.
Application Requirements. The Press Credentials Office accepts applications for three types of press credentials: A Standard Press Card allows a member of the press to attend multiple events while the Press Card is valid.
26 Απρ 2022 · The Press Credentials Office at MOME is responsible for issuing press credentials. The Press Credentials Office does not manage on-the-ground operations at events for which a Press Card is required. DCPI is responsible for facilitating citywide news coverage for members of the press.

Criteria for obtaining a press card are in Title 43, Chapter 16 of the Rules of the City of New York and more information about applying is available on the PCO’s webpage. A press card is not required to engage in newsgathering activity and to work as a journalist in New York City.
Press Pass NYC’s free programs are all in service of helping New York City public schools start and sustain a successful school newspaper program in a comprehensive way.
