20 Σεπ 2024 · The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) today announced a perpetual conservation easement on 260 acres in Central New York as part of the state’s Water Quality Improvement Project (WQIP) program.
Navigation Law Section 2(4) “Navigable waters of the state” means “All lakes rivers streams and waters within the boundaries of the State and not privately owned, which are navigable in fact or upon which vessels are operated, except all tidewaters bordering on the boundaries of Nassau and Suffolk Counties”.
