melonDS. DS emulator, sorta. The goal is to do things right and fast, akin to blargSNES (but hopefully better). But also to, you know, have a fun challenge :) How to use. Firmware boot (not direct boot) requires a BIOS/firmware dump from an original DS or DS Lite.
20 Οκτ 2024 · NooDS is available for Linux, macOS, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Automatic builds are provided via GitHub Actions; to use them, you'll need to install wxWidgets and PortAudio on Linux or macOS (see: Compiling for Linux or macOS).
23 Οκτ 2024 · Download the latest release from here: https://github.com/RSDuck/melonDS/releases. Extract the release onto your sd card, so that there's /switch/melonds folder melonds.nro and some other files inside it. NAND, BIOS and firmware files go into /switch/melonds as well. ROM files can be placed anywhere on the sd card.
NooDS. NooDS aims to be a fast and portable Nintendo DS emulator. It's not quite there speed-wise, but it offers most other features that you might expect from a DS emulator. It even supports GBA backwards compatibility. NooDS is available on Android, Linux, macOS, Switch, Vita and Windows.
