Free access NFPA codes and standards. As part of its commitment to enhancing public safety, NFPA makes its codes and standards available online to the public for free.
The committee developed the first edition of NFPA 1006, Standard for Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications , which established general job performance requirements (JPRs) for a rescue technician as well as specific job performance requirements for special rescue operations.
