9 Φεβ 2022 · Hello, I'm starting this chronicle of my 1/5 scale Nike Hercules build. It started in December 2021 and I'm hoping to fly it at MDRA in summer of 2022. Before we get into this, my goal for this project was to build a rocket that looks like a Nike Hercules, but that doesn't mean it operates exactly like it.

The Nike Hercules, initially designated SAM-A-25 and later MIM-14, was a surface-to-air missile (SAM) used by U.S. and NATO armed forces for medium- and high-altitude long-range air defense. [4] It was normally armed with the W31 nuclear warhead, but could also be fitted with a conventional warhead for export use.
Our model is a 1:24th scale replica of the Hercules. The kit comes in 10 pieces for easy assembly. Just wet/dry sand and primer the model, paint the parts, then assemble and detail the model. You’ll have an awesome model to fly and display!
