3 Αυγ 2014 · The Nikon D3 is the best camera ever made by Nikon. It was announced on August 23rd, 2007. As of the beginning of 2008 it's just starting to trickle into the hands of photographers. The Nikon D3 excels for news, sports and event photography where you need it to work under any condition.
The D3 is Nikon's first full-frame DSLR to mimic the old 35mm film format, and surprise number one is that it can crank at 9 FPS. Surprise number two is that it's the same price as the D2Xs ($4,999.95), not the ridiculous $8,000 of Canon's three-day-older 1Ds Mk III. Formats.
So long as you have enough self-confidence to use a $100 (used) lens on your new $5,000 camera, the D3 works fantastically well with Nikon's most recent inexpensive film lenses: the discontinued 28-80G and the discontinued 28-200G.
14 Αυγ 2008 · I used to love his lens reviews. Especially those old Nikon lenses. He was 100% accurate as a user (not a professional reviewer). That's what I needed; a user review. Never read any of the digicam reviews because there are better places like dpreview and imaging-resouces. I don't think he has any obligation to the public. It's his private site.
18 Απρ 2008 · A faster sensor, improved autofocus and video see Nikon's third-gen mid-range full-framer go toe-to-toe against Canon's EOS R6 II and the Sony a7 IV. We feel its all-round ability lifts it to the top of the pile.
White Balance. White balance in the D3 and D300 is superb. It is easy to adjust, and allows more flexibility, fine tuning, and a greater range of compensation than any previous Nikon, or possibly any other DSLR, ever.

The D3S has a few additional features that are not found on the D3, including a built-in GPS module for geotagging images, a more durable body construction, and a larger buffer size for faster image processing.
