Here in a few weeks I plan on upgrading from my D3000 to a d300s, Ive looked at the normal online dealers, B&H, Adorama, Amazon, Wolf/Ritz camera as well as Cameta and all seem to have similar prices on the body.

5 Οκτ 2009 · Pretty much everything else is unchanged from the D300, including the environmentally sealed magnesium-alloy body, the twelve-megapixel DX sensor, the large optical viewfinder with 100% frame coverage and the fixed 3 inch rear screen with 921,000 dots. The Nikon D300s costs £1499.99 / €1821.00 / $1799.95 body only.
The D300s is long overdue for an update, but the Japan quake, Thailand flood, and Nikon's sudden rush of FX bodies seem to have pushed it back. There's great debate amongst the Nikon user base as to whether we'll ever see a D300s replacement, but I'm still of the opinion that we will.
2 Νοε 2009 · Nikon D300s review – Value. Having already dropped by around £250 from its original RRP, the D300s can now be picked up for a body-only price of £1,250 – around £150 more than the current asking price of the D300.
