10 Φεβ 2019 · The old film cameras had excellent viewfinders with manual focusing aids, such as split-image rangefinders and microprisms, that enabled very accurate focus. These aids were dropped with the advent of autofocus and are absent in digital SLRs, making manual focus more difficult and less accurate.

16 Δεκ 2010 · Switch your lens to manual focus, and turn the focus ring for manual focusing. As for bracketing, the D5000 only does 3 frames. Push the info button on the back panel, go over to bracketing and choose it (it should be auto exposure by default I think).
27 Απρ 2017 · Yes, the D5000 has a Rangefinder option. When in manual focus mode, this replaces the exposure meter in your viewfinder with a rangefinder meter. If the markings appear to the left, focus is in front of the subject. If the markings appear to the right, focus is behind the subject.
17 Ιουν 2020 · If the OP has a D5000, the meter won’t activate for lenses without a chip. The D500 should meter with a cat lens just like with any manual lens. It can be used on a D5000 without the meter, but you will have to guess the exposure and check the histogram.
The D5000 has no Focus Mode Switch of its own. This is one of many ways the D5000 saves money so it can do pretty much the same thing for $750 as a $5,000 Nikon D3 does. M is manual focus, like the 1950s. Turn the focus ring on the lens and look for the focus confirmation dot in the finder.
