1 Οκτ 2008 · I updated a couple of days ago - no issues so far. I have had the dead battery error from time to time, but I could always resolve it by reseating the lens. The error didn't occur very often, and since the update I haven't taken the time to try to replicate the error to see if the firmware fixed it.
