12 Σεπ 2008 · For those who do not have the camera, here's a [very] short preface: To Activate D-Movie *mode you must press the LV (Live View) Button on the back of the camera, located on the right hand side just above the directional pad.
The Nikon D90's movie recording is accessed from Live view mode: You just press the OK button to start or stop recording at any time. You have to set focus before you start shooting...
2 Μαρ 2014 · And the D90 does indeed have both an internal microphone and a microphone input. From my test shots, the Rode microphone is much more directional than the internal microphone (doesn't pick up background noise) and also doesn't pick up camera noise. I think it'll do well or my purposes.</p>.
It is suggested that when capturing audio for your videos, you should always do a test to check the audio levels while Live View is activated and adjust if necessary. The audio levels should be adjusted before pressing the record button.
