Cost to repair AF-S motor in Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 IF ED lens? Apr 19, 2017. This is an early model I guess of the 70-200mm f/2.8. It does have VR and has the integrated focus (ie the lens doesn't move externally).

\$\begingroup\$ You need a repair shop & hopefully a good insurance policy. There's nothing anyone here can do - you dropped it, you broke it. Get it fixed or buy a new one. A 70-200 2.8 is going to be worth about $£€ 2,000 or more to replace, so see what the repair cost might be then make the call. \$\endgroup\$ –

15 Φεβ 2015 · I just acquired the 28-70 for a very good price, but the lens does not focus and the barrel won't go past 35mm. Is it worth sending to Nikon for repair? Does anyone have any recent information about this lens and it's repair cost? Thanks in advance!
