Check the inflation pressure on the compressor's pressure gauge. If the pressure is: Greater than 1.8 bar (26 psi, 180 kPa), continue with the repair procedure. Less than 1.8 bar (26 psi, 180 kPa), do not attempt to drive the vehicle. Seek qualified assistance. See ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. Unscrew the inflation hose. Replace the inflation hose cap.
Cause: This may be caused by the A/C compressor Direct Pressure Sensing (DPS) valve being worn. Action: Should a customer express this concern, follow the Service Instruction outlined below. PARTS:

Remove the valve cover (TOPIx Workshop Manual section 303-01A/B: Valve Cover). 2. Using a suitable coolant system pressure tester, pressurize the coolant system.
Set the test pressure to 0.5 bar (7.5 psi). 9.
