24 Δεκ 2020 · How to use. melonDS requires BIOS/firmware copies from a DS. Files required: Firmware boot requires a firmware dump from an original DS or DS Lite. DS firmwares dumped from a DSi or 3DS aren't bootable and only contain configuration data, thus they are only suitable when booting games directly.

DS BIOS and firmware files must be provided to boot the system menu, and can be dumped from a DS with DSBF Dumper. The firmware must come from an original DS; DSi and 3DS dumps don't contain any boot code.
