Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher. The Section 8 Housing Voucher Program assists in making safe and quality housing in the private rental market affordable to low, and very low-income households by reducing housing costs through direct rent subsidy payments to landlords.
FY 2024 HOME Income Limits are effective June 1, 2024. The HOME Income Limits are calculated using the same methodology that HUD uses for calculating the income limits for the Section 8 program, in accordance with Section 3 (b) (2) of the U.S. Housing Act of 1937, as amended.
