21 Απρ 2021 · NoDak Spud has recently developed a set of aftermarket iron sights for the popular Ruger American Ranch rifles. For the most part, new production bolt action rifle manufacturers seem to have forsaken iron sights in favor of the expectancy that users will add an optic of their choosing.
I'm looking to buy a Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39 next month. While doing research, I came across the NoDak sights on the Youtube channel and was very intrigued, I enjoy having irons on my rifles. Extremely disappointed to later find out they were bought out by PSA and ceased production.
22 Ιουν 2021 · NoDak Spud has now launched their NDS-55 and NDS-56 Sight Set for Ruger American Ranch Rifles. These sights are based on their 10/22 sight sets (which I own and like quite a bit). They include a tower front and a rear rail with built-in rear sight.
11 Ιαν 2023 · I have replaced the standard Ruger 10/22 sights on all of mine with the Nodak Spud versions, and it’s head and shoulders better. I have considered buying a Ruger American Ranch, and I had no idea this had been something Nodak already made…the ability to add Nodak-quality irons to a workhorse bolt gun would really be a big selling point.
6 Οκτ 2023 · Our rail/rear sight combinations are not designed for traditional scopes, they are meant to be used with red dots. You will have to use extra high rings and a scope that clears the rear sight. If you do manage to get one set up, you will need a cheek riser on your stock.
4 Φεβ 2011 · dead eye kenny. Their site is updated now with good info. As soon as my Ranch 5.56 arrives, I may have to try a set of these. I wish they would offer a set for the 308...
