Using the Noise Ninja Standalone application will allow you to use Noise Ninja with Lightroom even if you do not have or use Photoshop. We recommend you use version 2.1.2 or later of the standalone application so that you can send multiple images at a time from Lightroom to Noise Ninja.

24 Φεβ 2011 · I've searched high and low for a comparison of the noise reduction in Lightroom and using Noise Ninja to reduce noise and so far have come up empty handed. Does anybody know of a comparison anywhere online? Preferrably showing low light shots?

Do plugins or stand-alone dedicated NR programs work significantly better than the noise reduction built in to RAW converters? You've gotten lots of good answers. What I did was download the trial versions of Noise Ninja, Noiseware, and one other whose name currently escapes me.
I've mostly been using Lightroom's noise removal tool. I don't know if it's the best or not. I use to use Noise Ninja but I found that Lightroom's was comparable so it saved me one step in the editing process not to have to open up NN.
