Download the calamity Catalyst mod if you want new whips. Calamity summoner is still balanced around not having whips. It is still the most powerful class in the mod (it literally has the highest dps, decent armor and it's a fucking summoner, so you'll get hit less. Vanilla whips are stilll powerful enough to make dps get kinda absurd.

I have the catalyst addon, and had it in my last playthrough. I didn't know it added whips as well, but I can also download the unofficial whips mod by itself. Is there a difference between the 2? Or would it just do pretty much nothing?
