11 Ιουν 2020 · Tom Roster says any of his buffered lead loads in his loading manual can be loaded with an equal weight of buckshot. There is data for steel type wads that use fiber wads inside of the shotcup which makes it easy to adjust the wad column.

7 Δεκ 2020 · I want to use lead shot data to load #1 and #2 buckshot. I will of course use all other components exactly as specified, but because of the shot size, the load would be much lighter than called for (0.6 oz. of #2 buck in place of a 1 1/8 oz. load). I would use Titewad if I were to do this.
15 Μαρ 2015 · The problem will be that they will have data for standard 1-1/8 oz loads with typical 1-1/8 oz wads, and a 9 pellet load of 00 won't fit in that wad/hull combo. The solution is obvious: you need to substitute a larger capacity wad.
18 Αυγ 2022 · You could load them to a lower velocity. You could try some buffered loads if you want to extend your range on coyote. You can use more or less shot too. Otherwise you can just use buckshot data. It will also be safe to use 1 3/8 oz lead shot data, and substitute 27 pellets of 4 buck, fit should be good with that.

9 Σεπ 2012 · 8 should weigh about 1 oz and 9 should be about 1 1/8 oz, so any lead shot data for those weights would be safe. Buckshot should not compress when fired giving less pressure than a lead shot load. It will all be about filling the shell for a proper crimp.
