High temps are normal in gaming laptops (due to packing big beefy components in a tiny cramped space) however certain temps are not good for the longevity of the laptop. 90-95 is definitely a concern as 1.
Checking cpu temperature, it showed over 80c, sometimes hit 90c. When I stop playing game, it's quilt but still like 50c-55c with under 5% cpu utilization. So I tried aida46 stability test and got the result which I totally don't know if it's ok or not.
25 Ιουν 2021 · The processor monitors it's own temperature and will slow down or turn off to protect itself if it senses a dangerous temperature. That is around 100c. To test, turn on HWmonitor or similar.

18 Δεκ 2022 · #1. DISCLAIMER: I'm aware undervolting is not an option on this processor. So, I've recently tried using my Acer Swift 3 with an 1165g7 clocked at 2.80 GHz to do some light gaming. And when I say light, I mean VERY light. I've played a bit of Stardew Valley and Minecraft, both with most graphics settings turned to LOW or OFF entirely.
26 Απρ 2020 · The Core i7-8700K at 4.9 GHz even throttles due to its package temperature. And that's in spite of our compressor cooler's efforts! Thermal paste under the IHS does us no favors.
