The following prerequisites are required in addition to a hunting and/or fishing license: Fishing, Hunting, Furbearer Certificate: Required to hunt or fish in North Dakota except spring light goose and early Canada goose licenses. Need only purchase one per year per licensee.

More cost effective option than buying annual licenses.
A North Dakota resident who is over 16 years old can purchase an annual fishing license for only $16.00. If you are also planning a trip with your spouse, a special license called the Married Couple Fishing License, which costs $22.00 only.
