To be admitted Pro Hac Vice in a case you must: Register for Pro Hac Vice Admission in PACER. Complete: Motion for Admission to Practice Pro Hac Vice. Pay the admission fee, submit a Motion for Pro Hac Vice through CM/ECF. PHV CMECF e-filing instructions can be found here.
1. After the court has reviewed your PACER registration for Pro Hac Vice Admission, you will receive an email instructing you to file your Motion for Admission to Practice Pro Hac Vice in the case you wish to be admitted in. Pro Hac Vice Lawyers are limited to the jurisdictions where they are licensed to practice. Yet, as in most areas of the law, there are exceptions. Local Rule 83-6 - Pro Hac Vice Admission. Authority to Represent Parties in a Case. An attorney who is not a member of the bar of the court may represent parties in a case if the nonmember has paid any required pro hac vice admission fee to the clerk of court and been granted leave by the court to appear pro hac vice in the case.
