25 Ιουν 2020 · NTP settings you can change in the phone settings so you use something else than ntp.org if you want to. Updates should be downloaded from Microsoft servers after you have approved them in Teams Admin Center or when you trigger a phone to update firmware or software from TAC.
NTP Servers typically listen on UDP port 123 for requests and respond from the same port, which is also true for the inbox W32Time NTP Server. Inbox W32Time NTP Client and NTP Server can be enabled or disabled independently and both share UDP port 123 for their functions. Inbox W32Time NTP Client can only use UDP 123 as the source port.
The Microsoft Teams Room devices are configured to use time.windows.com as the default time synchronization source. However many companies prefer not to allow external NTP access to time.windows.com, but prefer to use their own internal NTP server.
