15 Ιουν 2020 · When it comes to the gospel and salvation, Jesus is intolerant. He is gracious, loving, patient, understanding, giving, and merciful but intolerant when it comes to the gospel. Jesus made this clear in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me ” (NLT).
Numbers 21:2. Israel vowed a vow unto the Lord — Being unexperienced in war, and sensible of their own weakness, they were afraid of these Canaanites, and therefore thus endeavour to engage God to help them in the war which they intended to renew.

10 Ιαν 2022 · Reflection: Old and New. The gospel reading above shows us the beginning of the tension between Jesus and His critics. The disciples of John and the Pharisees were quick to see and feel the difference between their usual life and the “new life” that Jesus brings. So they complained.
