19 Απρ 2021 · The NVG mount (the pivoting arm piece) locks into the shroud on the helmet, like the one pictured from Wilcox Industries. Norotos is another well-known and reputable brand. If your helmet has no holes for a shroud, it can be carefully drilled using the shroud as a template.
31 Ιαν 2013 · I've figured out I need 3 things to make the NVG mount: a retention strap, a PASGT/MICH plate, and a mounting plate for the Gloworm light. Most of the PASGT/MICH plates I've seen include a screw hole for attaching it to the helmet, but I'm thinking of attaching it with velcro.
Wilcox has engineered the helmet Shroud, Mount, and NVG Shoe to work as one system. Any off-brand shrouds could affect the rigidity, thereby affecting the stability of the goggle. An extensive amount of effort is put into this, and Wilcox cannot honor a warranty claim if an off-brand shroud is used with our mount.
NVG’s that utilize the auto-off feature are compatible with the RHNO II. This version of the RHNO II is designed with a dovetail interface. It will work with night vision goggles that require this type of mount, such as the AN/PVS-15, AN/PVS-18, AN/PVS-31, and BNVD-G.
