13 Δεκ 2023 · The New York State Police is reminding all New York State Pistol Permit holders (Excluding Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk, and New York City) that New York State Law requires you to recertify a carry concealed pistol permit every 3 years.
To access the portal and learn more about applying on-line (on the computer) for a handgun license or a rifle/shotgun permit, visit https://licensing.nypdonline.org. The NYPD License Division is located at One Police Plaza, Room 110A, in Lower Manhattan, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM.
Concealed carry permits issued outside of NYC and Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties will need to be recertified with the New York State Police three years after issuance, and then every three years thereafter.
