NYC DOT publishes the New York City Truck Route Map. The map shows Local and Through truck routes for all five boroughs. Request print copies of the Truck Route Map. The type of truck route that you must take depends on the origin and destination of your trip.
The New York City Truck Route Network is a set of roads that commercial vehicles must use in New York City. NYC Truck Routes are also available in LION data. https://data.cityofnewyork.us/City-Government/LION/2v4z-66xt.
NYC DOT publishes a full-color, double-sided map featuring the City's comprehensive Truck Route network overlaid on top of the entire arterial street network, making it easier for drivers to locate specific streets and intersections.
Any vehicle defined as a truck (two axles and six tires; or three or more axles) is required to follow the New York City Truck Route Network, a series of roadway segments that establish the routing requirements for all truck trips made on New York City arterials.
Included in this booklet is a New York State map showing the counties and their corresponding Regions (page 5) and a listing of the phone numbers and addresses for each Regional Office (page 6).
