All of the campgrounds at Lake Pillsbury are open from May to September, except Oak Flat which is open all year. Lake Pillsbury campsites are designated for up to 2 vehicles each (there is a fee for additional vehicles) and a maximum of 6 people. The vault toilets are a modern no-odor type.
Lake Pillsbury is a lake in the Mendocino National Forest of Lake County, California, created from the Eel River and Hull Mountain watershed by Scott Dam. Lake Pillsbury is situated 2 miles southeast of Oak Flat Campground.
6 miles north of Ukiah on US 101, 5 miles east on California Highway 20, 26 miles northwest on County Road 240 (Potter Valley-Lake Pillsbury Road). Also, accessible through Upper Lake traveling 31 miles north on County Road 301 (Forest Road M-1).
