For some reason, kids enjoy food that they harvest themselves better than if you give it to them. There are a few orchards left in Oak Glen that offer U-pick apples.

Keep in mind that each orchard opens for the season at different times – some may be ready to go in September! Of course, this can change from season to season depending on the crop.
