It can also appear in a rare event where 3 large boulders drop from the roof of the depths. When killed, it will drop either an Odd Tentacle or in much rarer cases, a Pathfinder Elite. The Nautilodaunt can also spawn from Mimic Chests after opening, at an extremely rare chance.

Yesterday i met a random chill guild on erisia shore and learned that 1h gun bullets still proc enchants from them, i was vibing with them but some annoying guild ganked us, i got a gran and a 3 star damage railblade along with other stuff including an odd tentacle, then i got sent to dephts but i kept their loot even if they trash talked me.

I will give you a tip. Make a Deepbound build for PVE, heavy obviously. Once you max level, you can go to the depths trial to fight Squibbo over and over again. Try grinding at least 20 odd tentacles and storing them in a bank for future builds.
