FSU, along with Florida's 11 other public universities, is subject to Florida Board of Governors admissions regulation 6.002 which requires first-year students seeking admission to submit an ACT, CLT, or SAT test score.

The Office of Admissions must receive all your application materials by the published deadlines. After submitting the application, students will have access to their application status checklist where they can submit their SSAR, test scores, and any additional documentation that is required.
What is the acceptance rate for FSU? Florida State admissions is very selective with an acceptance rate of 25%. Students that get into Florida State have an average SAT score between 1210-1370 or an average ACT score of 26-31. The regular admissions application deadline for Florida State is March 1.
