The deadline to apply for assistance is October 9, 2024. Updated information will be communicated on the Kentucky Career Center website and through future press releases with detailed information.
Make sure you are on a “.ky.gov” website when filing a Kentucky unemployment insurance claim. KCC services are free. KCC will never charge a fee. Only trust unemployment insurance-related emails that are sent from an @ky.gov address. Example: Firstname.Lastname@ky.gov. If you worked in other states: List of states in which you worked.
Before filing your claim or requesting benefits, read all instructions carefully. Your Social Security Number is required and will be shared as authorized by law. Ensure you answer all required questions accurately to process your claim successfully. Use Help Screens for clarification if needed.
