The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) provides you the opportunity to become a United States Air Force or Space Force officer while completing your college degree.
Officer Training School is a nine-week, four-phase program designed for prior-service Airmen and civilians with a college degree who are ready to take the next step as a leader in their lives and careers.
Officer Trainees are tasked to complete our rigorous 60 day training program with OTS staff developing through the Department of Air Force (DAF) Foundational Competencies (AFH 36-2647) to instill these attributes.
The Officer Training School staff consists of Active Duty, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard members as well as Air Force Reserve Individual Mobilization Augmentee officers. OTS is a group-level command with three squadrons that graduated over 2,200 officers in fiscal year 2023.
